Les Miserables clips!

FINALLY! THIS FILM LOOKS AMAZING! My highlights would have to be Samantha's On my Own and Anne's incredible acting after Fantine's fired. I also like Hugh and Russell and Eddie and Amanda on-screen chemistry together, but I want more of Helena and Sacha!

  2. The Little Mermaid
  3. The Lion King
  4. The Prince of Egypt (which is really underrated to me)
  5. The Princess and the Frog
  6. Thumbelina
  7. Quest for Camelot
  8. The King and I (animated version)
  9. Beauty and the Beast The Enchanted Christmas
  10. The Hunchback of Notre Dame

Announcement!

Hi sorry I haven't been on for a while, but just to let you know, I'll be doing videos of trivia and information about film versions of musicals, starting with the 2000's because I'm more aware of them, as well as early 2010's because it's a wee bit too early to do one for this decade! They'll be quite similar to Animat's animation lookback videos on Youtube (who is hilarious and I suggest you watch them if you love animated film!) and I'll be reviewing Disney animated musicals everyday in order (I have a rule that if a film has more than five songs it's a musical film!) in December until New Years Day and yes, it's a rip off of the Nostalgia Critic's Disneycember which he ripped off from someone else so it's a rip off of a rip off!

Just heard there may be an O2 production of Moulin Rouge! Please let it happen! here's the Nostalgia Critic's review of this! He may hate it, but it's a guilty pleasure and I agree with a few things on it!

Les Miz World Premiere!

Just found out the world premiere of Les Miz will be on 5th December in Leicester Square in London, which I hopefully will be going to! Heck, even the London cast have been given a day off to go to the premiere! I also may be seeing the show again with a friend of mine who really wants to see it and she knows how much I love it! Here's the Nostalgia Chick's review of the show which makes me laugh my head off (just skip to the end when everyone sings One Day More!) and she makes a great point to Marius and Cosette's relationship!

Saturday, 10 November 2012

Just heard Loserville's closing on Januray 5th which will have only have run in the West End for 5 months! I could tell from the start that show would be rubbish and it's just a rip off of a show like Glee, The Big Bang Theory and Grease! Reviews haven't exactly given any justice for the show's promotion and it's use of Lil Chris just bugs the hell out of me!

Book of Mormon London cast!

Congrats to the cast of the Book of Mormon, which includes Gavin Creel, Jared Gertner (who's reprising his role from the Broadway production!), Alexia Khadime (who most recently finished her run in Les Miz and is the first black actress to be the principal Elphaba EVER, who I must say, is amazing!), Stephen Ashfield, Gile Terera and Chris Jarman!
Gavin Creel

The musical is created by the creators of South Park and co-creator of Avenue Q and is coming to London on 25th February 2013 at the Prince of Wales Theatre (that's where Mamma Mia used to be!)
